Before, I was not really into K-Pop that it came to the point where everyone around me stan different Korean groups except me. I didn’t care about them until my younger cousin accidentally played a Korean song and it attracted me to watch the song on YouTube after asking her what song was that. It was Ooh Ahh by a girl group named Twice. I started to love the song first and then the music video. I just stanned them for a while because I wasn’t really fond of K-Pop as what I’ve just said but I admitted the song I heard was a bop until now.
Twice is a K-Pop girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality or survival show called Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group debuted on October 20, 2015 with their first song Ooh Ahh.
JYP (Jinyoung Park), the founder of JYP Entertainment, recently answered the question about why Twice is the name of the group. He said it means that the group will touch people’s hearts twice, once through the ears and once again through the eyes.
Actually, it’s a very long story about how I became a solid Once (or a fan of Twice). I just want you to know how much these nine lovely girls changed me (well, not that much) that they turned me into a fanboy.
So, I made this blog to share you about Twice. There might be some other groups that will be involved here because Twice is known for being friendly with others.
